MEMBERSHIP
The Sons of The American Legion, along with the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and American Legion Riders form the “Legion Family.” A family with a total membership of nearly 3.6 million members.
Article IV – Membership Eligibility
(From the Sons of the American Legion National Constitution)
Section 1. All male descendants, adopted sons and stepsons of members of The American Legion, and such male descendants
of veterans who died in service during World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada,
Panama, and the Persian Gulf War, during the delimiting periods set forth in Article IV, Section 1, of the National Constitution
of The American Legion, or who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from such service, shall be eligible for
membership in the Sons of The American Legion.
Section 2. There shall be no form or class of membership except an active membership.
Membership Dues
Dues for the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 374 will be as follows:
- 18 years of age and older - $30.00 per year
- Under 18 years of age - $10.00 per year
- Dual SAL Membership - $10.00 per year
